30 Quick Tips to be a Better Teacher

- Give students respect at all times.

- If you say you’re going to do something, make sure you do it and follow up.
- Make lessons hands on and practical.
- Make use of all the data you have available for planning lessons.
- Make time for extra curricular clubs.
- Don’t forget to challenge students.
- Treat all students equally and fairly.
- They don’t have favourites.
- Mark classwork and homework on a regular basis.
- Enjoy being in the classroom.
- Never give up and raise their aspirations.
- Organise educational trips.
- Don’t undermine their intelligence.
- Don’t make an example of them in front of everyone.
